ABOUT ME
This started as a small web site that could be researched by those that were interested in having their military medals court mounted. It has grown to become my biography, my family background, my military history and some of the many activities that I have enjoyed since retiring from the work force.
I want to thank all those that I served with during my military career and those that I had the pleasure of working with in civilian life as well as the many veterans I have met over the years due to my involvement with ANAVETS, the Royal Canadian Legion, The Korea Veterans, The CAVUNP (Peacekeepers) and other associations over the years on special projects.

MY PHOTO ALBUMS
In this section I have loaded some of my family photos dating back to when I was just a little tyke, all the way up to my present day activities.
Also pictures of Digby, Nova Scotia where it all began many, many years ago, I have added some of my favourite photos of Digby and some from other sources that remind me of my childhood.
LINKS
As I surfed around the web I have come across some interesting sites that I would like to share with you. There are some Veterans Organizations, some Regimental Organisations and lots more. Have a look at some of them

Are your medals beginning to show signs of age? Are the ribbons getting frayed or faded? Or maybe you have your parents medals and they're just sitting in a drawer collecting dust.
I can make those old medals look as good as new again, or I can put them in a handsome frame so that they can be displayed in a more permanent fashion.
I have worked on all types of medals.
- Military and Association Medals (including ANAVETS, Royal Canadian Legion, Korea Veterans Assoc.)
- Full and Miniature Medals
- Replace old faded ribbons with new ones
- Medals Cleaned, Polished and Framed
Have a look around my examples and check out some of the work that I have done. |

FRAMED MEDALS
On this page I have placed some examples of medals that I have put into presentation frames. I can include photos, regiment insignia and any other material related to the person.
|

|
 |
MILITARY MEDALS
Military medals come in two sizes. “Full Size” which you would wear to most military services and parades, and “Miniatures” which are worn at formal dinners with “dress uniform”
|

|
 |
ASSOCIATION MEDALS
Association Medals are non-military medals and are awarded by various organizations such as the Royal Canadian Legion, ANAVETS, Korea Veterans Association and others. They are worn on the right side.

MOUNT YOUR OWN
I have attempted on this page to show those that may have some interest in court mounting their own. It can become expensive for a person attempting to do their own medals.

CLOCKS
I can also make clocks. They are about 8” in diameter

PEACEKEEPERS CAIRN
I want to show off the newest Cairn in Winnipeg dedicated to all Peacekeepers. The Cairn is located on Memorial Boulevard, Winnipeg, Manitoba

VIETNAM MEMORIAL WALL
The Manitoba Chapter of the Canadian Vietnam Veterans Association unveiled a Memorial Wall in Winnipeg today, June 11, 2005. I had the honour of attending and this page contains pictures from this event.

There were 1543 battle casualties, of which 309 were killed in action, 1202 wounded and 32 survived as prisoners of war. In addition, 207 died from various causes such as training accidents, lost at sea, illness and in transit. A total of 516 Canadians lost their lives during the Korean War era.
This section is dedicated to those Manitobans, and indeed all Canadians, that gave their lives in Korea from 1950—1953 during the war, and from 1953—1955 during the cease fire. On the bottom left of the Cairn in Brookside Cemetery are the words, written in Korean— “Thank you Canada for your sacrifice”
Sgt. TOMMY PRINCE
Sgt. Tommy Prince was one of Canada's most decorated Aboriginal war heroes, serving in World War II and the Korean War. Therefore it was only fitting that we named the newest Korea Veterans Association after him.
This new Association will be called Sgt Tommy Prince, MM Korea Veterans Memorial Unit 76, Winnipeg
